While we recognize that Nakba is a tragic and difficult event in the history of Palestine, we believe that music and dance can be powerful tool for expressing emotions and building a strong community in a way that words alone cannot do. This event is an act of resistance against those who have sought to erase Palestinian culture and identity.
With each beat, we'll honor the history and ongoing struggles of the Palestinian people, and with each step, we'll stand in solidarity against apartheid and in support of justice and equality.
